چکیده

Aerobic/anaerobic physical exercise causes a series of stimuli that can induce many biochemical and hormonal changes in the whole body. Hormones are involved in physiological changes produced in the body during exercise. The duration, the intensity and the type of training modulate these hormonal fluctuations. Aging is associated with an alteration of the neuroendocrine system, which leads to a decrease in the sensitivity of endocrine glands to the action of neurohormones and to a reduction in the number, density and affinity of neurohormone receptors. Increased physical activity is accompanied by great energy loss. The imbalance between energy consumption and the much higher energy expenditure results in the activation of adaptive endocrine and neuroendocrine mechanisms of the body to high physical effort. The endocrine profile developed under various physical exercise conditions: acute, high-intensity, prolonged moderate-intensity, prolonged high-intensity exercise or during restitution is dependent on the integrity of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal, hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal, hypothalamicpituitary-thyroid axes and on the sympathetic adrenal medullary system, to which other endogenous and environmental factors are added. The increase in the incidence of diseases, including endocrine disorders closely related to physical exercise and to the absence of physical activity, is an area of wide interest and a public health problem.

The Effects of a Session of Aerobic and Anaerobic Exercise on Leukocytes, And Hormonal Responses in Young Women

Background. Exercises with different intensities can cause changes in immune system factors and hormonal acute response. These changes may exceed the permissible limitations and weaken the system. Objectives. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of an intensity aerobic and anaerobic training session on acute hormonal response and immune system factors. Methods. A total of...

Evaluation of The Acute Hormonal Responses To Concentric, Eccentric And Concentric_ Eccentric Muscle Actions in Healthy Young Men

Evaluation of The Acute Hormonal Responses To Concentric, Eccentric And Concentric_ Eccentric Muscle Actions in Healthy Young Men Introduction: Resistance exercise is a potent stimulus for acute increase in the concentrations of circulating hormones such as Growth Hormone (GH) and Testosterone. Conventional resistance exercise is performed using sequential concentric (CON) and eccentric (EC...

The effect of low-carbohydrate diet on the pattern of hormonal changes during incremental, graded exercise in young men.

The purpose of this study was to discover whether severe dietary carbohydrate (CHO) restriction modifies the relationship between exercise intensity and hormonal responses to exercise. Changes in the plasma adrenaline (A), noradrenaline (NA), growth hormone (hGH), testosterone (T), and blood lactate (LA) during an incremental exercise performed until volitional exhaustion were determined in 8 p...

Comparison of Acute Hormonal Responses between Resistance, Endurance and Endurance-Resistance Exercise in Healthy Young Men

Introduction: This research was aimed at examining acute responses of hormones such as growth hormone (GH), total testosterone (TT), free testosterone (FT), free fatty acid (FFA) and cortisol to resistance (R), endurance (E) and endurance-resistance (ER) exercise. Methods: The participants of this study were 10 healthy young men. R protocol included bench press, lateral pull down, leg exten...
